LVIS GATE 06:00-18:00 – Open Inbound and Outbound Lanes For POV and Trucks
Autobahn 62, roadway construction, connection Landstuhl-Atzel and Bann
Autobahn 62 will undergo construction between Landstuhl-Atzel and Bann beginning April 15th, and will take approximately four months.
Only one lane will be open in either direction during the construction period, so traffic delays are to be expected.
The road towards Pirmasens will be worked on during the first phase of construction. During this phase, the asphalt in the Hörnchenbergtunnel and on the Bann exit ramp will be replaced, and repairs will be made on two bridge structures.
The Landstuhl-Atzel on-ramp and Bann exit will be closed in the direction of Pirmasens. Detours will be via the Landstuhl-West motorway junction and the Weselberg connection respectively.
The second phase of construction will be made on the A62 towards Trier and will begin following the completion of the first phase.
The Autobahnamt Montabaur asks for patience, and for all drivers to remain vigilant and safe around the construction sites.
Sewer Renovation in Kaiserslautern “Auf dem Baennjerrueck”

As part of an overall sewer renovation plan in the area of “auf dem Baennjerrueck” by the city, the sewers will be replaced under a part of Leipziger Strasse, between Rostocker and Naumburger Strasse.
A preliminary inspection will be carried out from April 24 – 26, 2019. This will be done in three sections (see map). During this time period, the road will be closed in those respective sections.
Pedestrian traffic is not affected by these plans. Bus services will continue as usual.
