Base Facilities

As the largest installation in the KMC, Ramstein shares its services with other military members in the area -- to include Kapaun, Vogelweh,  Pulaski, Kleber, Panzer, Daenner, Miesau, Pirmasens, Rhine Ordnance Barracks and Landstuhl, the Army's Regional Medical Community Center.
 
Due to the large community, there are also a host of services available -- from restaurants and fitness centers, to golf courses and commissaries.

86th and 786th Force Support Squadrons: These two squadrons operate a wide range of facilities throughout the KMC. Check out the Web site for information on childcare, youth programs, dining options, fitness centers and much, much more.

Defense Commissary Agency: Check this site out for more information on the two commissaries in the KMC: Ramstein and Vogelweh.

Kaiserslautern Military Community Center: The Kaiserslautern Military Community Center, or KMCC, is a one-stop shopping center for travelers and those stationed in the KMC. The 800,000 square feet facility  is a one of a kind -- the first time that the Army and Air Force Exchange Service and Air Force Services have collocated major business operations. The facility includes a BX, a four-plex movie theater, Power Zone, Outdoor Living, Toyland/Four Seasons, food court, new car sales, Outdoor Recreation facility complete with a two-story climbing wall, the Ramstein Tickets and Tours office, Romano's Macaroni Grill restaurant and much, much more.

Base Chapel:
Ramstein's Chaplain Corps is responsible for promoting a spiritually healthy and vibrant Kaiserslautern Military Community. To accomplish this they offer religious observances, pastoral care and religious, spiritual and moral advice.  In addition, the chapel offers a variety of programs for children, teens and adults.
