The Ramstein Law Center (86 AW/JA) provides legal assistance services for eligible individuals in the KMC military community. They assist with personal, civil legal matters such as wills, family law matters, consumer law issues, personal contract disputes, SCRA and USERRA issues, special education law, immigration issues, and more. We have both US and German attorneys. The Law Center also provides powers of attorney and notary services. They cannot prepare German wills or provide German notary services. The Law Center also provides administrative and informational services for tickets and other issues involving German legal authorities.
Legal assistance attorneys can provide legal advice, conduct general reviews of documents, flag issues, advise and answer questions. Legal assistance attorneys cannot, however, represent clients in any court or administrative proceedings or draft or file legal documents with any court. Legal assistance attorneys do not provide individuals with legal assistance if they have a dispute with military authorities.
For members facing disciplinary action, the servicing Area Defense Counsel is located at Ramstein Air Base and can be reached at DSN 314-480-2182 or adcramstein@us.af.mil.
