• 86th MDSS Airmen prescribe new network

    Behind the scenes of the 86th Medical Group, within the Medical Support Squadron, is a small flight doing big things. The Medical Information Services Flight is working tirelessly to not only keep the Medical Group running, but migrate systems to help safeguard us all.

  • 86 MDG receives more COVID-19 vaccines

    This shipment is the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as part of Phase 1a of the COVID-19 prioritization plan and will primarily be distributed to first responders and select medical personnel.

  • Ramstein Airmen receive flu vaccine

    The 86th Medical Group set up in a hangar to administer flu vaccines to Ramstein Airmen Oct. 27-28, 2020. Airmen adhered to the appropriate physical distancing protocols required during the COVID-19 pandemic, while keeping deployment ready.

  • 86 AW conducts COVID-19 patient movement training

    Airmen assigned to the 86th Operations Group, 86th Medical Group and 86th Maintenance Group participated in a simulated open-air movement of COVID-19 positive patients on a C-130J Super Hercules aircraft.

  • Stay mentally fit during COVID-19

    The 86th Medical Group is available to help with any stressors, including those related to COVID-19. The group established a COVID-19 Stress Line April 6.

  • 86 FSS says thank you to MDG

    The 86th Force Support Squadron provided free, catered lunches to the 86th Medical Group to show appreciation for all their work during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic.

  • EMEDS maintains readiness posture

    Expeditionary Medical Support (EMEDS), an 86th Medical Group asset, remains postured and ready at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, should the capability be needed in fighting the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic and saving lives.
