Ramstein member killed in motorcycle accident Published Sept. 3, 2010 By 090310 RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, Germany -- A member of Team Ramstein was killed in a motorcycle accident near Reichenbach-Steegen, at approximately noon Sept. 2. Master Sgt. Amy Winger, 37, was assigned to the 2nd Air Postal Squadron here since May 2010. "Our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences go out to the Winger family," said Brig. Gen. Mark Dillon, 86th Airlift Wing commander. "She was a vital part of our Team Ramstein family, a dedicated first sergeant, a loving wife, wingman and friend, and her loss will be felt deeply across our wing, our community and our Air Force." A memorial service has been planned but no date has been set. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
