86 AW Airmen awarded Gallant Unit Citation

Team Ramstein members attend a ceremony where 18 86th Airlift Wing Airmen receive a Gallant Unit Citation at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Dec. 5, 2025. The Airmen deployed in support of the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing, which earned the citation for conducting combat operations in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility from April 2 to Oct. 6, 2025. Airmen from the 37th Airlift Squadron and 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron supported through a short-notice deployment augmenting the 40th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron.
