86 AW Airmen awarded Gallant Unit Citation

Gallant Unit Citation recipients pose for a photo with 86th Airlift Wing leadership following a Gallant Unit Citation ceremony at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Dec. 5, 2025. The citation recipients deployed in support of the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing, which earned the citation for conducting combat operations in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility from April 2 to Oct. 6, 2025. Airmen from the 37th Airlift Squadron and 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron supported through a short-notice deployment augmenting the 40th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron.
