Defending the base: security forces Airmen participate in heavy weapons training

A U.S. Air Force Airman aims an AT4 rocket launcher during a heavy weapons training at U.S. Army Garrison Baumholder, Germany, Sept. 18, 2025. The Airmen used different weapons during the training to include: AT4 rocket launcher simulators, M240B machine guns, M249 machine guns and M320 grenade launchers. Security forces Airmen play a critical role in base protection and the training allows students to become familiar with multiple weapons preparing them for different situations they may face on the battlefield.
