USAFE FM host MAJCOM financial management symposium

Jason Schneck, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force Financial Management and Comptroller budget integration division chief, discusses financial management and budget changes from SAF level leaders during the the USAFE-AFAFRICA 2025 Budget Symposium on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Feb. 25, 2025. This symposium aimed to bring together flight leaders, budget officers and resources advisors within USAFE-AFAFRICA, to provide centralized guidance and direction for SAF/FM and USAFE-AFAFRICA funding strategies. Key financial management highlights within the Department of the Air Force were funding $700 million dollars into DAF modernization efforts, resourcing 87% of DAF weapon storage sustainment requirements, and funding $1.1 million total force flying hours.
