Airlifter of the week achieves high score
U.S. Air Force Capt. Adam Olligschlager, 86th Airlift Wing plans and programs action officer, loads a simulated litter patient onto a C-21 aircraft for aeromedical evacuation training at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, March 11, 2022. Olligschlager performs training exercises such as this to keep up his skills and ensure that all nurses remember mission and clinical requirements for transferring patients via aircraft. When Olligschlager isn’t working as an action officer, he assumes regular duties as a flight nurse evaluator at the 86th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron.
