Thracian Summer 2021: When night falls 435 AGOW rises to occasion

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Joanna Krebbs, 435th Contingency Response Squadron contingency response engineering craftsman, maintains accountability of personnel at the tactical operations center during night operations as part of Thracian Summer 2021 at Cheshnegirovo Air Base, Bulgaria, Aug. 27, 2021. The role of personnel in support of contingency (PERSCO) is to ensure total force accountability by understanding where everyone is at any given time. This information is critical to leaders for mission planning and uninterrupted base operations. The airfield environment at Cheshnegirovo Air Base is well suited to expeditionary training objectives and affords vital training for each of the diverse skill sets required to run a self-contained air base in the midst of a significant combat threat.
