Innovating communication

The 65th Air Base Squadron prepares to complete the first circuit modernization to stabilize air-to-ground communication capabilities at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal, Jan. 29, 2021. Their innovation project will save the U.S. Air Force $140,000 annually and help return excess infrastructure to the Portuguese government two years ahead of schedule.
