Innovating communication

Building T-205 at Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal, was identified to be returned to the Portuguese government. Through a squadron innovation project, the 65th Air Base Squadron will help save the U.S. Air Force $147,000 annually, while maintaining capabilities as a communications power projection platform.
