U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Maritza Rivera, 86th Operations Support Squadron airfield management operations shift lead, checks in with her office during a routine nighttime airfield check at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Oct. 22, 2020. Rivera checked for inoperable lights, bird and wildlife aircraft strike hazards, and foreign object debris to maintain 24/7 support to aircraft at Ramstein. The Airfield Management team continued operational effectiveness during COVID-19 by fusing 66 missions with multi-country travel restrictions, limited manning, daily training and transient flight operations.
