SQUAD SWAP: 437th AW Conducts Deployment Swap at Al Udeid Air Base

Capt. Abe Iyengar, a pilot assigned to the 16th Airlift Squadron, proposes to his girlfriend after returning from a deployment to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., Nov. 1, 2020. Airmen assigned to the 15th AS replaced Airmen assigned to the 16th AS, who were returning home after a 90-day deployment. Both squadrons fly and operate C-17 Globemaster IIIs assigned to the 437th Airlift Wing.
