571st MSAS conducts field training for Air Advisors
Capt. Matt Schnarrs, 571st Mobility Support Advisory Squadron air advisor and personnel development flight commander, radios in an exercise destress call to a U.S. Coast Guard rescue helicopter during the rescue signaling portion of the squadron’s field training exercise Aug. 13, 2020, at King Range National Conservation Area near Shelter Cove, Calif. In a joint training collaboration with Coast Guardsmen from the U.S. Coast Guard Station Humboldt Bay, all FTX students practiced destress calls to rescue crews, who were flying overhead.
