The German Air Force members toured the 10 EAEF facilities as well as an aircraft that held the TIS, in order to familiarize themselves with COVID-19 TIS procedures and equipment. The TIS is an infectious disease containment unit designed to minimize contamination risk to aircrew and medical attendants, while allowing in-flight medical care for patients afflicted by a disease like COVID-19.
