A C-17 Globemaster III lands on a runway on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Aug. 3, 2017. The objective of aircrafts assigned to Ramstein Air Base are to assist United States forces and allies with world-class airlift and expeditionary combat support in both peace and war situations.
