Making sheet metal fly
U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Luke Gibson, 86th Maintenance Squadron aircraft structural maintenance apprentice, shapes a piece of metal around the template for a C-130 inner flap rib on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, July 5, 2017. The aircraft structural maintenance shop helps maintain the hull structure of aircraft on Ramstein by repairing or replicating damaged sheet metal parts. Manufacturing the parts in-house rather than ordering them saves the Air Force time and money. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Elizabeth Baker)
