Honoring Holocaust victims

A Ramstein Air Base student asks Bob and Ann Kirk, Holocaust survivors and honored guests, a question during the 86th Airlift Wing’s Holocaust Remembrance at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, April 25, 2017. As Jewish people living in Germany before World War II, the Kirks suffered from persecution and escaped to Great Britain via the Kindertranport, a series of rescue efforts to relocate thousands of refugee Jewish children. Today they travel and share their stories to raise awareness of the Holocaust and honor those who were persecuted. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Elizabeth Baker)
