Honoring Holocaust victims

Ann Kirk, honored guest at the 86th Airlift Wings Holocaust Remembrance, tells stories of her experience with the Kinderstansport to audiences at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, April 25, 2017. The Kindertransport was a series of rescue efforts which brought thousands of refugee Jewish children like Kirk to Great Britain from Nazi Germany between 1938 and 1940. Kirk and her husband, Bob, shared their stories to raise awareness of the Holocaust and honor those who were persecuted. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Elizabeth Baker)
