Maintenance inspection keeps aircraft flying

Staff Sgt. Mark Fridel, right, 86th Maintenance Squadron crew chief, accepts tools from Staff Sgt. Joshua Stites, 86th MXS aerospace propulsion journeyman, at the end of their shift Jan. 13, 2016, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Tool accountability is important as it not only keeps track of tools used to fix the aircraft but also ensures those tools are not in a place that may cause damage to the aircraft.
