Ramstein unveils C-130J flight simulator
Brig. Gen. Jon T. Thomas, 86th Airlift Wing commander, speaks during the ribbon cutting ceremony for the C-130J Super Hercules Flight Simulator Aug. 24, 2015, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The multi-million dollar simulator is expected to save U.S. Air Forces in Europe approximately $250,000 a year in travel and lodging costs by alleviating the need to send pilots to the U.S. to train on simulators.
