C-130J scrubbed the 86th AMXS way
An Airman from the 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron rinses a wing of a C-130J Super Hercules with water April 20, 2015, at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Aircraft washing is a vital part of the flying mission, and if C-130Js are not washed regularly, they can begin to corrode and cause damage yielding it unsafe to operate. As Airmen perform washing procedures, safety is paramount. Airmen are required to wear full-body protective gear during the process. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Sara Keller)
