Family ruck march
Approximately 75 members of the 435th Contingency Response Group conducted a 5 kilometer weighted-ruck march, Oct. 11, 2013, Ramstein Air Base. The squadron rucks every Friday morning, year round, but this was the first time family members accompanied the Airmen. Family members were able to experience the 435th CRG does to ensure readiness. Air Force fitness is essential to mission readiness and this march helps Airmen get physically prepared for a deployed environment. The 435th CRG plans to continue to do this for as long as possible in any weather condition, anytime of the year. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Airman 1st Class Michael Stuart)
