U.S. Army Sgt. Karl Berlinger has a Computerized Tomography scan done on his right foot with assistance (from) Staff Sgt. Brandy Bisson, diagnostic imagery CAT scan technician, Feb. 12, 2014, Landstuhl Regional Hospital, Germany. Berlinger and his unit were on their way back to Kandahar Air field, Afghanistan after a perimeter patrol, when they got hit by an improvised explosive device, which blasted the vehicles door inward slamming across Berlinger’s right foot.
