Kindergraves memorial ceremony

The final resting places for 451 American children of service members stationed in Europe during the buildup of the Cold War, were decorated with an American flag and rose before the Kindergrave’s memorial ceremony at the Kaiserslautern cemetery, Germany, May 17, 2014. A ceremony is held every year the Saturday after Mother’s Day to keep the children’s memories alive. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Hailey Haux)
