AL Haynes, United Airlines Capt., retired, speaks to the members of the 86 Airlift Wing operations personnel, aircraft maintainers and emergency responders about the tragic crash that happened on July 19, 1989 with the United Airlines Flight 232 crash, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Aug. 27, 2008. Mr. Haynes? DC-10 had an engine malfunction and lost all flight controls. After crashing at the Sioux City airport, 184 survived and 112 people perished.
