Iraqi burn victim transported to U.S.

BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- Capt. Konemann, 332nd Expeditionary Medical Squadron, says good-bye March 21 to Al Amreeki, a 3-year-old burn victim who has been in her care for two months at the Air Force Theater Hospital here. Al Amreeki was only given 48 hours to live after being burned in a fire. Two months later he and his mother are being transported back to the United States for further treatment and physical therapy.
