Master Sgt. Matthew Ulichney, 835th Civil Engineer Squadron, steals study breaks in the emergency operations center between the end of the duty day and his evening classes. Inspired by his former supervisor, Maj. Rodolfo Rodriguez, to go back to school, he finished two degrees with the Community College of the Air Force in December and is already enrolled in a bachelor’s program. Major Rodriguez was killed in a terrorist bombing in Pakistan last September. (U.S. Air Force photo by Capt. John Ross)
