USAFE Medal of Distinction

General Roger E. Brady, U.S. Air Forces in Europe commander, presents the USAFE Medal of Distinction certificate to Dr. Richard Auernheimer, former State Secretary of the Ministry for Labor, Social Affairs, Health, Family and Women for the Rhineland-Palatinate State Government, Jan. 22, 2009, at Ramstein Air Base for his unrelenting engagement on behalf of USAFE during the last nine years. Also present at the ceremony, Malu Dreyer (pictured above), Minister for Labor, Social Affairs, Health, Family and Women for the Rhineland-Palatinate State Government, thanked Dr. Auernheimer for his support of USAFE's mission accomplishment. Dr. Auernheimer dedicated his efforts to the active promotion of German-American cooperation through better communication and interaction, contributing to the social, personal and cultural exchanges between all parties.
