F-15 prepared for its mission
An F-15E Strike Eagle gets de-iced and washed before departure Feb. 12, 2009, from Ramstein Air Base back to its home base at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England. RAF Lakenheath hosts the only U.S. Air Forces in Europe F-15 fighter wing, supporting three combat-ready squadrons of F-15E Strike Eagle and F-15C fighter aircraft.
