65th Anniversary of D-Day remembrance ceremony preparation
An Air Force C-130 from the 86th Airlift Wing, Ramstein Air Base, Germany flies above the skies of Sainte-Mère-Église, France, 5 June 2009 in preparation for the 65th Anniversary of D-Day remembrance ceremony held each year in Normandy, France. More than 300 Army paratroopers will be jumping out of the Hercules over the beaches of Normandy. Each year since the liberation of Normandy, U.S. forces along with other nations come together to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice on that day. This year's ceremony is scheduled to be attended by U.S. President Barrack Obama and dozens of American World War II veterans.(U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Michael Voss)
