Dog Handler Promoted
Col Kurt Lohide, 435th Air Base Wing Commander, left and Maj Ron Gray, 435th Security Forces Squadron Commander promoted Staff Sgt. Rodney Cochran to technical sergeant. Cochran, who got picked up in the supplemental board, arrived with his military working dog Boyke, to do a routine sweep of the building and unaware he was to be promoted.
