U.S. Air Force Capt. Dan Santoro, a C-130 pilot with the 37th Airlift Squadron, goes over a map during the preflight briefing for a local mission involving two C-130J models and one C-130E model from Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Sept 23, 2009. The flight marked one of the last times the two models will be in flight together on Ramstein. As part of the Air Force's continual effort to modernize its inventory, the 37th AS has already received six C-130J models and is slated to have 14 by spring 2010. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
