Breast Cancer Awareness
The 86th Medical Group, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, is hosting several events to support breast cancer awareness month. Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in women, after skin cancer. More than 250,000 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer this year, and about 41,000 will die from it. Although the disease is most common in women 40 and over, it can occur in younger women. That's why it's important to perform regular self exams and that all breast lumps be checked by a doctor. (U.S. Air force photo by: Tech. Sgt. Sean Mateo White)
