Test flight checks clean
Maintenance personnel from the 86th Airlift Wing conduct an inspection on a C-130J after a test flight April 21 on Ramstein. The test flight was conducted following the opening of German air space after nearly six days of air traffic restrictions due to ash in the atmosphere caused by a volcanic eruption in Iceland. The aircraft checked "clean," allowing for the wing to resume flying operations. Officials will continue to monitor the weather as the volcanic activity continues to be unpredictable.
