THRACIAN SPRING 2010
Bulgarian 68th Special Forces Brigade members parachute to the drop zone after jumping from a U.S. Air Force C-130 J during exercise Thracian Spring 2010 at Plovdiv Airport, April 23, 2010. Personnel from the 86th Airlift Wing and 435th Air and Ground Operations Wing are deployed to Plovdiv, Bulgaria in support of Thracian Spring. Thracian Spring is an exercise composed of aircrew, maintenance, airfield management, aerial port, security forces, and logistics personnel that combine their skill in an effort to build and strengthen the United States and Bulgarian Air Forces’ bond while improving interoperability with our partner NATO nation.
