THRACIAN SPRING 10

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Michael Ferry, a loadmaster from the 37th Airlift Squadron, explains how equipment is loaded onto a U.S. Air Force C-130J to Bulgarian Lt. Hristo Valev, a Mi-24 pilot from the 24th Bulgarian Air Force, during exercise Thracian Spring 10 at Plovdiv Airport on April 24, 2010. Personnel from the 86th Airlift Wing and 435th Air and Ground Operations Wing are deployed to Plovdiv, Bulgaria, in support of Thracian Spring. Thracian Spring is an exercise composed of aircrew, maintenance, airfield management, aerial port, security forces, and logistics personnel that combine their skill in an effort to build and strengthen the United States and Bulgarian Air Forces bond while improving interoperability with our partner NATO nation.
