Bike Safety
U.S. Airman 1st Class Grovert Fuentes-Contreras, 86th Airlift Wing Public Affairs photographer, demonstrates the improper way to ride a bike by not wearing personal protective equipment, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, May 11, 2010. Bicyclists must wear a reflective outer garment when riding during periods of reduced visibility to include hours of darkness and inclement weather on USAFE installations. Additionally, bicycle safety accessories such as headlamps, rear lights, and (or) rear reflectors must meet host nation requirements or locally developed requirements. Refer to AFI 91-207 USAFESUP 3.5.4.1. or your local safety office for more information. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Airman 1st Class Caleb Pierce)
