A Cut Above

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Timothy Beardsley 86th Maintenance Squadron has his head shaved by volunteer Heike Lauer, in participation of the St. Baldrick's event that he and his wife Heike organized in their 3-year-old daughter, Josie's honor. Josie was diagnosed with Leukemia two years ago today, Ramstein Air Base Germany, June 26, 2010. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is an organization that tasks volunteers with getting sponsored to have their heads shaved as a demonstration of their camaraderie to children that have been diagnosed with cancer.
