A Cut Above

U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Timothy Beardsley 86th Maintenance Squadron, makes opening comments at the first St. Baldrick's event held on Ramstein Air Base, Germany, June 26, 2010. Tech. Sgt. Beardsley and his wife Heike organized the event in their three-year-old daughter, Josie's honor. Josie was diagnosed with Leukemia two years ago. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is an organization that tasks volunteers with getting sponsored to have their heads shaved as a demonstration of their camaraderie to children that have been diagnosed with cancer.
