A Cut Above
U. S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Timothy Beardsley 86th Maintenance Squadron, has his head shaved as his daughter Josie, wife Heike and son Sam look on. Tech. Sgt Beardsley and his wife Heike organized the first St. Baldrick's event held on Ramstein Air Base Germany, June 26, 2010, in 3-year-old Josie's honor. Josie was diagnosed with Leukemia two years ago. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is an organization that tasks volunteers with getting sponsored to have their heads shaved as a demonstration of their camaraderie to children that have been diagnosed with cancer.
