A Cut Above

Josephine "Josie" Beardsley, 3, stands in wait as her father, U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Timothy Beardsley 86th Maintenance Squadron, has his head shaved in participation of the St. Baldrick's event that he and his wife Heike organized in Josie's honor. Josie was diagnosed with Leukemia two years ago, Ramstein Air Base Germany, June 26, 2010. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is an organization that tasks volunteers with getting sponsored to have their heads shaved as a demonstration of their camaraderie to children that have been diagnosed with cancer.
