Recognition

U.S. Airmen were recognized by the Chief of the Police Directorate Kaiserslautern for their life saving actions at an off-base location on Aug. 14, 2010, Ramstein Air Base, Nov. 8, 2010. An AAFES employee ran off the road and hit two trees; she sustained life-threatening injuries and the quick action and life-saving measures initiated by the pictured individuals, kept her alive until the emergency, first responders arrived.
