This presentation was special as it was the first time Senior Airman Willard was formally recognized in front of his Vehicle Readiness Squadron family after he was awarded the Purple Heart by Air Force Chief of Staff, General Schwarz, for injuries sustained while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
