Airman Recieves Purple Heart

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Brian Willard, 86th Vehicle Readiness Squadron vehicle operator, receives a coin presented by Brig. Gen. Mark Dillon, 86th Airlift Wing commander, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Dec. 8, 2010. This presentation was special as it was the first time Senior Airman Willard was formally recognized in front of his Vehicle Readiness Squadron family after he was awarded the Purple Heart by Air Force Chief of Staff, General Schwarz, for injuries sustained while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
