Carpathian Summer 2010

U.S. Air Force Captains Marci and Dan Walton, 37th Airlift Squadron pilots, work side-by-side in the command center of Carpathian Spring 2011, Airlift Base Otopeni, Romania March 17, 2011. Capt. Marcie Walton is serving as chief of tactics and Capt. Dan Walton as mission commander of this exercise. This is the first time the married couple has had the opportunity to work together this closely. Carpathian Spring 2011 is a building partnership capacity exercise where members of the U.S. military join their Romanian counterparts to learn from one another and strengthen alliances.
