Morón Air Base, commander visit

Brig. Gen. C. K. Hyde, 86th Airlift Wing commander, speaks to Airmen during a visit to Morón Air Base, Spain, Nov. 1, 2011. Morón provides critical expeditionary combat support, while assuring the finest quality of life for team Morón and transit forces. As a geographically separated unit, the 496th Air Base Squadron based at Morón is also the prime location for both Southwest Asia and the U.S. Africa Command and has the longest operating runway in U.S. Air Forces in Europe.
