‘Smart Defense’ in action for NCOs in today’s AF
Students build an improvised aerial delivery device across a river to try and beat the clock in order to achieve the goal during an exercise at a "Smart Defense" class in Lucerne, Switzerland, July 5, 2012. Twenty-eight students from 15 allied and partner nations participated in the two-week class with extensive classroom work and field exercises, putting the theories and academics into action under stressful conditions while building and strengthening the multinational partnership.
